Halloween is here until 2 November. You get witch gear, a broom you can fly on, a bag's worth of sweets, creepy noises at night, and the Whispering: haunted places where being loud gets you hunted.
/spooky and they stop. Type it again to bring them back.At night in the Overworld you'll sometimes hear something just behind you. A witch laughing, a door closing, a ghast a long way off. It's quiet, it's every couple of minutes, and nothing is there when you turn around.
Creative and spectator don't get them. /spooky turns them off for you, and the server remembers that.
