This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage the Lion Madness website uses. The short version: this site sets no cookies at all. It stores one small entry in your browser to remember that you dismissed the notice in the corner, and it uses cookieless analytics.
What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, often to recognise you between visits. "Similar technologies" covers other ways of storing or reading something on your device, such as local storage, which stays in the browser and is not sent to a server automatically. The rules that apply to cookies generally apply to those too, which is why they are all listed here.

Nothing else is stored or loaded. We run no advertising, no third-party trackers, no embedded social widgets, and nothing that follows you to other sites. We do not deliberately put names, email addresses, order references, or chat content into analytics URLs or events.
Other services set their own storage on their own domains. Discord does so when you are on Discord, and a payment provider will do so at its own checkout. Those are separate services under separate policies, and this page covers only this website.
The Notice in the Corner
The small notice is informational. Dismissing it is not consent to analytics or to anything else. It records only that you have seen the notice, which is why it stores a dismissal flag rather than a choice.
The operator is based in the United Kingdom, so we look to UK data-protection guidance first, even though players and visitors reach this site from anywhere. Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookie, uses no persistent identifier, and distinguishes visitors only by a hash that is discarded after 24 hours, so we treat it as the kind of low-risk, aggregate measurement that does not require opt-in consent under UK guidance. If we ever add something that does require consent, we will not switch it on first. The notice will offer a clear accept, a clear reject that is just as easy to use, and a way to change your mind later.
Clearing or Blocking Storage
You can clear cookies and site data for this site from your browser settings at any time, which removes the dismissal flag. The notice will reappear on your next visit. Browsers can also block storage entirely, and this site works either way. Analytics can be blocked with any standard content blocker, and nothing on the site depends on it running.
Changes to This Policy
We re-check what the site stores when we deploy changes, and we update the table above when it changes. If we introduce a new cookie or tracking technology, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before it is used.
Who We Are & How to Reach Us
Lion Madness has three staff who help run the server and community day to day, but it was founded by, and is principally owned and operated by, one of them: Filip Kasprzak, based in the United Kingdom. That person is the operator responsible for what is described in these policies. In these policies, "Lion Madness," "we," "us," and "our" mean that operator.
For questions about this policy, email lionmadnessminecraft@gmail.com. You do not need a Discord account to contact us, and you do not need to be unbanned. If you have been removed from the Server or the Discord, email still works. Our Discord is a community channel as well, but it is not the only way to reach us.
