The Live Map
A 3D map of the world in your browser, and how to stay off it.
map.lionmadness.net is a 3D map of the whole world in your browser, running on BlueMap. You don't need an account. Just open it.
It's the fastest way to see who's claimed what before you pick a spot for your own town.
Staying off it
Your marker is on the map by default while you're online.
/maphide takes it off. /mapshow puts it back.
That only hides the icon. You're still visible in game, your builds and claims still show up, and chat and moderation logs work the same as before.
Limits
Map data lags a little behind the live world, and some areas show up half-rendered depending on what's been generated and rendered so far. If your build isn't showing up yet, that's the map being slow, not you losing your claim.
It's a good overview and a bad security camera. Don't plan a defence around it.

The map runs on BlueMap, an open-source project. Their wiki covers what the renderer can and can't do, if you're curious why a particular area looks the way it does.
