The End

Twenty-three biomes, a reworked dragon fight, and a late game that starts after it.

On most servers the End is a boss arena with a long walk attached. Ours runs Stellarity version 5.5.5, which is a completely overhauled End and boss fight.

This page covers the parts you're most likely to run into, But be aware it isn't the full pack of what Stellarity offers.

Biomes and terrain

Twenty-three biomes replace the flat old void. They come as fields, barrens, forests and frozen versions of each, running from places that look almost pleasant to places that very much don't.

The islands are the bigger change. In vanilla they're all the same, which is why the End reads as a plain with holes in it. Here they vary in height, thickness and shape, so navigating takes some more effort and thinking.

Void fishing

Your fishing rod works out here. Cast it into the empty air below you and you'll pull things out of the void. Yes, really. No, we don't know how either.

Almost every biome has its own catch table, so what comes up near a grove isn't what comes up over the wastes. It's slow, and it's the one reliable way to farm End-exclusive material without fighting anything for it.

After the dragon

The Altar of the Accursed is the main late-game crafting station. There's no menu to open. You throw the ingredients on top of it and it does the rest. The recipes are very expensive on purpose, so treat it as something your town works towards over weeks to become stronger.

There's also cauldron crafting: throw a bottle of Dragon's Breath into a water cauldron to dilute it, and you can then craft by tossing items in.

Between them they unlock a large chunk of the pack's forty-plus new items, including four armour sets that each carry their own effects and set bonuses.

Structures

Strongholds are around five times the size of vanilla ones and are full of Illagers guarding the End Portals, so the trip out is a fight now rather than a formality.

End Cities were rebuilt. They hold trial spawners that produce upgraded versions of Overworld mobs and drop keys, with End Crystals protecting them.

The Empress of Light is a summonable boss found at the Chapel of Light in The Hallow. The pack's author has flagged her as needing a rework, so treat her as rough around the edges rather than a polished set-piece.

Official documentation

We only cover the parts of the pack you'll bump into on Lion Madness. For the complete reference, including every biome, item and recipe, see The Official Stellarity Wiki.
